About The Carbon Crucible:

If you've visited my social media pages, you would know that I am constantly tinkering on random projects.

One day I realized that maybe I could make these projects, document my journey, and hopefully provide some entertainment or value to the people who might be interested.

Then, I realized I could possibly sell some of the things I tinkered with. But... after trial and re-trial, I created many projects that failed, I made some that were uninteresting, and I attempted a few that were outright impossible given my current skillset.

.

Then one day, a friend of mine said,

"hey can you make a license plate for my photography account?"

And I was like:

"Heck yea!"

I took what I had learned from the past, four months worth of prototypes later, The Carbon Crucible (me/I) made its first official product.

Many months after that, I started to search for and develop other products that I wanted to have myself. The goal is to offer high-quality car-related items for fellow enthusiasts to enjoy.

FAQ

How Long Does It Take For You To Make My Custom Plate

In Total, around a week.

From 3d printing a core, hand placing the carbon fibers for vacuum resin infusion, designing your custom design, and placing a final layer of epoxy, my process takes up to a week to complete.

Is My Custom Plate Weather Resistant?

I use UV resistant epoxy.

I want these products to last so you can use them forever. because of this, I provide a 1 year guarantee that the plates will not yellow or delaminate.

Will I Need To Modify My Car To Install The Hazard And Headlight Buttons?

This button is designed as a direct plug-and-play replacement for the OEM hazard and headlight button in 1990-1997 Mazda Miata models. It requires no wiring modifications, making installation straightforward.

Simply remove the old button, use OEM screws to secure the button to the "tombstone", plug in this LED-backlit version, and enjoy the upgraded functionality with seamless fit and compatibility.

Are The All Your Products Handmade?

As of right now, only the plates and Miata buttons are handmade. However, I am constantly looking for new projects to take on. If you have ideas, feel free to send me a message and it might just end up on this page!
